Assessment tools

Updated: Feb 14, 2020

Measuring the impact of your project does not need to be a burden for you and your audience. There are several strategies that can be used, adapted and recycled to fit your needs that can be simple and fun to apply.

You can check out the meeting's note and recording for a brief overview on the types of tools you can use with some practical examples.

If you want to dive deeper into the nitty-gritty of the techniques - such as concerns on how to develop questions, or influencing people's opinion - I strongly recommend you look into the social sciences for reference. It will be a fun trip to the north side of campus!

Regardless, there are already a few references in the meeting's note to get you started.

On our next meeting, September 27th, we will talk about undergraduate mentorship. It will be a round table with people sharing their experiences, concerns and tips, so we can start the academic year ready to help our students succeed - whatever that may be!
